
Opis
The fibers, 250μm, are positioned in aloose tube made of a high modulusplastic. The tubes are filled with a waterresistant filling compound. A FiberReinforced Plastic (FRP) locates in thecenter of core as a non-metallic strengthmember. The tubes (and fillers) arestranded around the strength memberinto a compact and circular core. Thenthe cable core is covered with a thinpolyethylene (PE) inner sheath, which isfilled with jelly to protect it from wateringress. A layer of water-blocking materialis applied around the cable core toprevent water ingress all the same. After acorrugated steel tape armor is applied.the cable is completed with a PE outersheath.
