12 Colors SC/APC fiber Pigtail

We deployed these 12-color SC/APC pigtails in our GPON FTTH distribution hubs where controlling back-reflection is critical. The SC/APC angled physical contact ferrule provides exceptional optical return loss (ORL), preventing signal degradation on our high-power optical lines. The G657A bend-insensitive single-mode 9/125 fiber handles tight routing inside compact terminal boxes and splice trays without macro-bend attenuation. Additionally, the standard 12-color coding across the 0.9mm jackets allowed our splicing teams to quickly identify cores and streamline fusion splicing inside the ODF panels.

Having purchased these pigtails in bulk for central office ODF population, I am very impressed with the consistency of the ceramic ferrules and optical performance. We opted for the 1.5-meter cable length option, which gives us ideal slack for routing through tray management guides. The 0.9mm buffer material strips smoothly and cleanly without snapping or pulling on the underlying glass, making cleaving and fusion splicing seamless. Our OTDR post-installation testing verified consistently low insertion losses across all 12 SC/APC simplex connections.

For our enterprise fiber network upgrade, the SC/APC 12-core pigtail pack offered the right mix of build quality and installation efficiency. The push-pull SC latching mechanism engages securely into our patch panel adapters with minimal mechanical play. Utilizing 12 distinct colors for individual core identification eliminated splicing errors during high-volume terminations inside our patch panels.
