LC APC fiber Pigtail

We integrated a bulk order of these simplex LC/APC single-mode pigtails into our high-density FTTH splice enclosures. The 8-degree Angled Physical Contact (APC) polish on the LC ferrule delivers exceptional Optical Return Loss (ORL), which is essential for preserving signal purity across our active optical lines. Featuring 9/125 G657A bend-insensitive fiber, these pigtails withstand tight bend radii inside compact splice cassettes without causing macro-bending loss spikes. Furthermore, the 0.9mm outer jacket strips cleanly without scoring the glass cladding, allowing our field technicians to maintain fast fusion splicing workflows.

As a network deployment engineer, I ordered these LC/APC 9/125 single-mode pigtails for a enterprise datacenter interconnection project. We selected the 1.5-meter cable length, which offered ideal slack for routing through internal cable management guides. Post-splice OTDR testing across 1310nm and 1550nm wavelengths demonstrated consistently low insertion losses under 0.15dB per junction, confirming excellent ceramic ferrule concentricity.
