LC UPC fiber Pigtail

We procured a bulk supply of these simplex LC/UPC single-mode pigtails to populate high-density 1U ODF patch panels for our data center interconnection network. The Ultra Physical Contact (UPC) polish on the LC ceramic ferrule provides low reflection and low insertion loss (testing consistently under 0.15dB on our OTDR traces). Using G657A bend-insensitive 9/125 single-mode glass allows our field engineers to route the pigtails through tight cassette trays without triggering macro-bending attenuation spikes. The 0.9mm buffer jacket strips cleanly in one pass without scoring the cladding, which has noticeably sped up our fusion splicing throughput.

For our enterprise FTTH and campus distribution node upgrades, these LC/UPC pigtails have shown outstanding manufacturing consistency. Selecting the 1.5-meter cable length provided the ideal amount of slack for clean loop routing within compact fiber terminal enclosures. The 9/125 single-mode core maintains pristine transmission stability across both 1310nm and 1550nm wavelengths. The mechanical tolerances of the LC connector body and latching mechanism are exact, snapping securely into duplex and quad adapters without slop. We sourced these pigtails in bulk to support a large-scale telecom splice project requiring strict loss budgets. The 0.9mm tight-buffered jacket provides adequate structural flexibility while protecting the underlying G657A single-mode fiber core.
