We standardized on the FOSCIE6 for underground duct, pipeline, and direct-buried splicing contracts due to its rigid Polycarbonate outer body. Joined by heavy-duty bolts and an internal sealing grommet, the housing withstands soil compression and environmental stress without leaking. We opted to equip our closures with the optional pressure testing valve and desiccant bag to perform air pressure integrity checks prior to trench backfilling. The central foundation plate firmly anchors cable strength members and buffer tubes, while the 6 port plugs maintain airtight seals on unused cable entries. It is a thoroughly dependable, reusable inline splice closure for long-term outdoor cable management.
