Designed with 9 entry ports—comprising 1 main 38 mm oval port and 8 separate 13 mm branch ports—it gives field crews unmatched flexibility for branching multiple drop cables from a single junction. The heat-shrinkable sealing structure is purpose-built for uncut cables, making mid-span loop entry fast and completely watertight. Internally, the 6 splice trays handle up to 144 bunchy fibers or 432 ribbon fibers with ease. The included hanging hoops made pole-mounting quick and secure for our installation teams.

We standardized on the FOSCYM9 for regional trunk splicing due to its complete accessory package and organized internal layout. Each closure ships with a dedicated fiber holding tray for buffer tube storage, heat-shrink sleeves, a grounding wire, labeling paper, and aluminum-foil protection paper. We also added the optional pressure testing valve to verify airtight seals prior to underground burial. The heat-shrink protective tubes form an airtight seal around all 8 branch lines. It is a reliable, well-engineered dome closure that drastically reduces maintenance headaches across utility network deployments.
