12 Color LC APC fiber Pigtail 

We ordered a large volume of these 12-color LC/APC pigtail bunches for an extensive FTTH/PON network upgrade across our suburban distribution nodes. The 8-degree angled physical contact (APC) ferrule polish provides exceptional optical return loss (ORL), which is critical for suppressing back-reflection on our high-power optical transmitters. Combined with G657A bend-insensitive single-mode 9/125 fiber, routing these pigtails through tight splice trays and high-density ODF cassettes causes no detectable micro-bending loss. The 12 distinct jacket colors follow standardized color charts, eliminating technician error during mass fusion splicing.

As a telecom contractor managing data center interconnects, we integrated these 2-meter LC/APC 12-fiber pigtails into our high-density patch panels. The 0.9mm tight-buffer jacket material strips cleanly in a single pass without fraying or scoring the underlying glass, which significantly boosts our field splicing throughput. Insertion loss across all 12 cores consistently tested under 0.2dB on our OTDR traces, testifying to the high concentricity and polish quality of the ceramic ferrules. Having all 12 color-coded fibers pre-bundled saves substantial preparation time compared to handling individual loose pigtails.

We purchased these 12-core LC/APC pigtail bunches for our central office optical distribution frames (ODFs). The compact form factor of the LC connector allows twice the port density of traditional SC connectors while maintaining the superior back-reflection control required by APC polish. The RJ-style latching mechanism provides a tactile, secure fit inside high-density adapter plates without mechanical slop. Furthermore, the G657A single-mode glass maintains stable attenuation performance across 1310nm, 1550nm, and 1625nm testing wavelengths. Excellent manufacturing consistency across all bulk orders.
