As a network infrastructure lead, I was thoroughly impressed by the build quality of this 16-core FTTH termination box. We deployed a large batch of these in an environment with extreme weather fluctuations, and the PC+ABS material has proven to be incredibly durable, maintaining its IP65 wet-proof, water-proof, and dust-proof ratings without any signs of aging. What truly sets this unit apart for outdoor pole-mounted applications is the thunder-proof grounding integration. The voltage resistance between the grounding device and the metal parts effortlessly meets the 3000V (DC) specification, ensuring our network remains protected during severe electrical storms. We opted for the configuration with a pre-installed 1x16 SC/APC PLC splitter, and the field integration was flawless. Highly recommended for ISPs looking for a rugged, carrier-grade enclosure.

Excellent optical performance and field-friendly internal design. Our technicians noted that the cable management system inside this box is top-tier; the feeder cables, pigtails, and patch cords all run through their own dedicated paths. This completely eliminates the risk of disturbing adjacent fibers and prevents micro/macrobending losses during routine maintenance. We ran OTDR and power meter tests on the fully populated adapters and consistently verified insertion losses well below the ≤0.15dB threshold, alongside APC return losses exceeding 60dB. The flip-up distribution panel is another massive time-saver, allowing for quick access to the expression port for the feeder cable. It’s a highly efficient solution that centralizes splicing, splitting, and distribution in FTTx architectures.

A highly versatile and modular terminal box that perfectly suits scalable PON deployments. We required enclosures that could support both wall-mounted and pole-mounted installations across various indoor and outdoor sites, and this unit handles both effortlessly. The internal layout is spacious enough to easily accommodate two 1x8 PLC splitters, giving us the exact splitting ratio we needed for a specific suburban deployment. The clamping mechanisms for both the feeder and drop cables are secure and provide excellent strain relief, keeping everything safely fixated and stored. Furthermore, the environmental tolerance from -40℃ to +85℃ means we can standardize on this single SKU for deployments in all our operating regions. It’s a very solid investment for physical network expansion.
