We deployed the FOSCMF6 across several underground pipeline and duct splicing contracts where fast cable access and multi-size entry ports were required. The inclusion of 2 ports accommodating up to 21 mm cable diameters alongside 4 ports accepting up to 16 mm cables simplifies main-to-branch feeder transitions. Un-spliced loose tube buffer fibers store neatly in the dedicated fiber holding tray. We also opted to add the optional pressure testing valve to verify airtight mechanical seals prior to underground trench backfilling. From 24-core drop taps up to fully loaded 240-core trunk splices, this mechanical dome closure provides long-term seal integrity and excellent internal organization.
