The 80H high performance optical multi meter is controlled by single chip microprocessor and displayed by true colorful LCD. Its shape is novel, and the design meets the requirements of Human Engineering. The 80H adopts advanced thermoplastic molding technology which is beautiful and durable. The 80H is with many optional functions, such as Optical Power Meter, Light Source, Visible Fault Location, Variable Optical Attenuator, RJ45 Sequence/Cable Tracking, Laser Ranging and flashlight. They are mainly used for continuous optical signal power measurement, optical fiber link loss test and optical fiber line on-off test. The 80H widely used in optical cable construction and maintenance, optical fiber communication, optical cable sensing, Optical CATV and other fields.

Integrating the 80H-12 multi-meter (combining a -70 to +10 dBm OPM, dual-wavelength OLS, and 10 mW VFL) into our field certification kits has vastly improved test throughput. The 1 mm super-large photosensitive InGaAs detector significantly improves light collection efficiency, eliminating beam vignetting and insertion variance when switching between SC, FC, ST, and LC APC/UPC interfaces. The automatic wavelength recognition and frequency identification features work flawlessly with the internal light source, automatically syncing the power meter to 270 Hz, 1 kHz, or 2 kHz modulated tones without manual intervention. Furthermore, the ability to store and offload test results directly via single-chip microprocessor control streamlines our compliance documentation.

We specifically procured the 80H-15 variable optical attenuator (VOA) variant (0 to 60 dB attenuation) along with combo OPM/OLS units to evaluate system margin and receiver sensitivity in high-density DWDM and FTTH cabinets. The true color LCD display remains perfectly legible under direct sunlight, and the ergonomic housing allows easy single-handed operation during prolonged cabinet audits.
